This was taken at Waterrock Knob on the Blue Ridge Parkway by our class member, Wayne Ebinger. Are we not incredibly fortunate to live in such a paradise?

Tai Chi Trusted Info and Links

Are you a member of an organization that might like to know more about Tai Chi and Qigong? We would be delighted to come to one of your meetings and make a short presentation, combined with a demonstration. The video below is our demonstration routine, which contains a little Qigong and a little Tai Chi, to give you an idea of what we do in our classes. Send a request via the Contact Page and Paul will contact you to discuss when and where.

Other Area Tai Chi and Qigong Activities

We are focused on educating Haywood county seniors about the health benefits of Tai Chi/Qigong, and making cost-free classes available for them to learn without a cost barrier.  However, we are not the only activity that provides classes and we want all seniors to be aware of the other opportunities which may be more convenient or attractive.  The list below is complete to our knowledge.

Haywood Regional Fitness Center :  Occasionally has Tai Chi/Qigong classes.  Check the online schedule.

Waynesville Yoga Center:  The Yoga Center on Waynesville’s Main Street also occasionally has classes.

Asheville Classes:  For some that live closer to Asheville, there are a number of classes available:

Qigong and Tai Chi with Larry Cammerata

WNC Tai Chi for Arthritis :  These classes are offered by our own Anne Plyler in Asheville, where she lives.  She teaches here in Haywood every Thursday.

There are numerous other Tai Chi/Qigong activities in Asheville, which a Google search will reveal.

Making Friends

Of course you should make friends in your Tai Chi class. We cannot wait for friends to come to
us. Join a club, get involved at church, or volunteer.
